Account Profile

The Account Profile section in 5day.io is where the Account Owner (or Admins with appropriate permissions) can manage the organisation account level information and can configure how the 5day.io environment looks and behaves for all users across the organization.
When a user logs in as an Account Owner, they can access the Account Profile to configure essential details that define the identity, preferences, and appearance of their 5day.io account.

The Account Profile is divided into two main sections:

  • Profile
  • Display

Each section allows the Account Owner to control different aspects of the account’s setup.

Profile Section​

In the Profile section, the Account Owner can manage the organization’s identity and ownership settings.

User can:

  • Set Account Name – Define or update the name of your organization as it will appear across the system.
  • Add/Update Country – Specify the country your organization is based in to.
  • View Account URL – See the unique URL assigned to your account.
  • Add/Update Description – Provide a description about your organization or how the account is used.
  • Upload Organization Logo – Add your organization's logo for better branding across the platform.
  • View Account Owner Details – See current account owner information.
  • Change Account Owner – Transfer ownership to another user if necessary.

Display Section​

In the Display section, the Account Owner can configure how the 5day.io environment looks and behaves for all users across the organization.

You can set:

  • Default Time Zone – Set the standard time zone for your organization’s work.
  • Default Language – View the language for your account interface.
  • Time Format – Select 12-hour or 24-hour clock format.
  • Date Format – Choose how dates are displayed (e.g., DD/MM/YYYY, MM/DD/YYYY).
  • Duration Format – Define how durations are displayed across worklogs and tasks:
    • Clock (hh:mm) – e.g., 5 hours 30 minutes → 05:30
    • Days (dd.dd) – e.g., 2.5 days → 2.50
    • Days, Hours, Minutes (2d 5h 30m) – e.g., 2 days 5 hours 30 minutes → 2d 5h 30m
    • Hours (hh.hh) – e.g., 5.5 hours → 5.50
    • Hours, Minutes (5h 30m) – e.g., 5 hours 30 minutes → 5h 30m
  • Day Configuration– – Define how many hours are considered a full working day.
    For example, if you set Day Configuration = 8h, then 8 hours will equal 1 full working day across timesheets.
  • Skin (Theme) – Choose a color scheme or theme for your account's look and feel.
  • Layout – Select between:
    • Left Navigation (sidebar menu)
    • Top Navigation (horizontal top bar menu)

These display preferences apply at the organizational level and affect the overall experience for all users inside the account.
